Scope of Work, Exclusions & Non-Standard Services Policy

Governing Document: Customer Terms of Service (TOS) & Field Cleaner Training Manual | Effective: 2026

The Pure Standard delivers premium, eco-luxury residential cleaning utilizing certified plant-based formulations, organic essential oils, and HEPA-sealed micro-filtration systems. To maintain consistent service quality, safeguard client property, and protect our W-2 professional cleaning technicians, all services are governed by the standardized scope and safety parameters detailed below.

Standard Scope & Special Scenarios

  • Heavy Pet Hair & Fur Detailing (+$45–$75 Surcharge): Allocates 45–60 extra pod minutes for dual-pass HEPA vacuuming of baseboards, upholstered furniture, and high-pile rugs.

  • Post-Renovation & Drywall Dust ($0.35–$0.50 / sq ft): Construction trades must be 100% finished. Includes a specialized 2-phase dry-HEPA vacuum and microfiber fine-dust removal protocol before wet wiping.

  • Biological Hazards & Mold (Strictly Out of Scope): Zero exposure limit. Technicians bypass active black mold (>10 sq ft), bodily fluids, rodent droppings, and uncontained animal waste. These require licensed remediation specialists.

  • Extreme Clutter & Heavy Debris ($90–$110 / Pod Hour): Flat-rate pricing is voided. Pods clean accessible floor paths and reachable horizontal surfaces without moving heavy clutter heaps.

  • Residences up to 6,000 sq ft (Direct Online Booking): Homes up to 6,000 sq. ft. qualify for instant flat-rate online checkout and transparent pricing.

  • Residences 6,001–10,000 sq ft (Operations Manager Consult & Custom Quote): Prompts an intake consultation with our Operations Manager to review property specifications, provide a custom quote over the phone, and determine if an on-site walkthrough is required.

  • Expansive Private Estates (>10,000 sq ft): Requires a mandatory on-site architectural walkthrough with leadership to structure multi-pod deployment or multi-day consecutive staging.

  • Guaranteed Exact-Time Arrival (+$35 Priority Window): Locks in a strict ±15 minute arrival block (e.g., 8:30 AM sharp) rather than our standard 2-hour morning or afternoon arrival window.

Core Field Safety Protocols

  • Protocol A: Immediate Zone Exclusion (Cleaner Safety): If an uncontained biological hazard or active mold is discovered, technicians photograph the area via their portal, secure the door, and complete the remaining clean zones of the residence. Concierge coordinates directly with the homeowner regarding partial billing adjustments.

  • Protocol B: 100% Ground-Standing Policy: To prevent falls and liability, all work is performed with both feet firmly on the ground. Technicians use commercial telescopic extension poles reaching up to 9–10 feet for high fans, fixtures, and moldings. Technicians do not climb on ladders, step stools, counters, or furniture, and do not lift or slide furniture exceeding 35 pounds.

  • Protocol C: Strict Botanical Formulations: Only company-issued, commercial-grade plant and mineral formulations (hospital-grade thyme-oil disinfectants, citric-acid limescale removers, pure coconut/plant surfactants, and organic essential oils) are permitted. Bleach, synthetic quats, ammonia, and aerosol propellants are strictly prohibited on site.
